Staff/Senior Staff Engineer - System Application Engineering

• Actively interact with System/Field Application Engineers and marketing team to deeply understand customer requirements on motor control, power supply and battery management in APAC region. 

• Develop or modify embedded firmware solutions on Switching Mode Power Supply (SMPS), Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) drive, Light Electrical Vehicle (LEV) battery charger and battery protection control

• Debug and solve FW problems in reference solution during development as well as customer support

• Be responsible for design and drive Graphic User Interface (GUI) implementation/modifications

• Work closely with marketing team to develop technical training documents and conduct training/seminars for FAEs and customers

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree /Master/ Ph.D in Electrical and Electronics Engineering

• Min 3 year experience in Applications, software or firmware development as an embedded system designer

• Solid experience in programming language C and scripting language Python

• Experience in developing and testing GUI via communication interfaces, such as I2C, CAN and UART

• Good understanding of ARM Cortex-M architecture and toolchain, memory management, linking process

• Be familiar with the SMPS control and PMSM Field Oriented Control (FOC) is strongly preferred
