In your new role you will:​​

• Define and develop ACDC SMPS solutions for auxiliary supply for home appliances and industrial applications.

• Work with internal product line engineering teams closely to develop SMPS IC products.

• Develop and implement system validation tests and generate reports.

• Write application notes and technical articles for Infineon SMPS controllers for example CoolSET.

• Train field application engineers and customers on new products.

• Support field application engineers in design-in activities and solving technical issues.

Requirements:​​

• 5 or more years of experience in SMPS applications engineering.

• PhD/ MSEE/ BSEE

• Hands-on design experience of power converters for example flyback, PFC and LLC converters

• Good understanding on power electronics and future SMPS trends

• Good customer communication and presentation skills

• Self-motivated team player with a high level of self-discipline and strive-for-excellence attitude

• System simulation experience for power converter is a plus
