Research Scientist/Engineer - Perception


  • Craft requirements, specifications and testing criteria for perception module based on standard customer inputs

  • Develop Vision, LIDAR and Fusion algorithms/AI models for autonomous vehicle perception

    • Semantic segmentation

    • Object recognition

    • Sensor Fusion of vision/LIDAR/Radar

    • Multi-target tracking

    • Multi target prediction

  • Algorithm deployment on automotive embedded system

  • Validate algorithms via real vehicle testing

  • Proper documentation



  • Master Degree in Computer Science or related field.

  • Extensive experience of Vision and Lidar data processing.

    • Image/Pointcloud data pre-processing

    • Segmentation

    • Object recognition

  • Extensive experience of one or more of the following:

    • Deep learning applied to images or video data.

    • Other modern machine learning methods.

    • Sensor fusion of RGB and depth.

    • ROS software development.

  • 3+ years of experience in C++ software development.

  • Experience in robotics, automotive or other real-time and embedded systems.

  • Proven track record of publications in relevant conferences (CVPR, ICML, NIPS, ICCV).

  • Excellent analytical, communication and writing skills.
