Industrial Engineering Manager (Assy)

As an Assembly Planning / Industrial Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the activities and operation of a Capacity Planning / Industrial Engineering section, working together with other functional groups locally and/or globally to accomplish organizational and business objectives by ensuring the products meet yield/quality/reliability expectations; timely support of 1st silicon, Engineering samples, Qual samples and meeting expectation on Engineering Hot lots cycle time; sustaining and improving the key performance indices of the products through continuous improvement activities / projects; ensuring new product start-up on time and smooth volume production; being the focal point of Assembly, and developing new capabilities ahead of needs.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Develop and up keep model and system to ensure optimal capacity and availability of materials and logistics to support production need

  • Develop and maintain capacity / capital / space model

  • Publish weekly production loading plan

  • Ensue the necessary direct materials are in place to support the production plan

  • Identify and work with relevant group(s) to mitigate potential issue

  • Monitor and report weekly production performance

  • Optimize the deployment of Assembly capital assets, space / layout and capacity to ensure efficient and effective use of assets

  • Optimize internal capacity utilization

  • Work with Global Planning team to support shipment of wafers to external subcontractors

  • Consolidate and submit regular capital request for approval

  • Manage Assembly capacity / capital / space needs and ensuring Assembly capital / capacity / space is ahead of needs

  • Work on long term capacity / capital / space planning to support new Financial Year planning, scenario planning and strategic planning

  • Maintain capital roadmap for MMP Assembly

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering
