Job description

  • To be responsible and accountable for all customer related quality matters.

  • To be major point of contact for customers on quality issues.

  • Drive compliance to customer specific quality requirements to meet and exceed customer expectations.

  • Drive customer related Quality System roll-out, deployment, improvement and enhancement activities.

  • Drive customer 8D / CAR closure and verify corrective/preventive effectiveness.

  • Drive customer quality index tracking & analysis for improvement opportunities.

  • Coordinate Quality spec review/negotiations with customers.

  • Manage quality reviews with customers to show quality improvement progress.

  • Drive internal programs to improve customer quality.

  • Lead and drive manufacturing stability to achieve zero excursions for customers.

  • Drive Pre-ramp Assessment and Safe Launch for successful first-time-right production ramp to meet and exceed customer needs.


  • Bachelor/Master in Engineering or Science.

  • >9 years of relevant working experience.

  • Manage a quality group in a large manufacturing environment.

  • Working knowledge of QS9000/ISO9000/TS16949 quality systems, SPC & TQM concepts.

  • Knowledge of wafer fabrication process is an advantage.

  • Good people & leadership skill and able to work under pressure.

  • Team lead with good presentation/communication skills.
