Job description

As a Site Operations Manager individual contributor, you will develop and execute a holistic strategy and be part of a global team dedicated to this function across all Assembly and Test manufacturing locations. 

  

In this role you will participate in the implementation of the global supply and corresponding inventory strategy by establishing key supply readiness strategy, identifying required implementation resources and developing communication channels and tools to introduce the new strategy. 

  

You will also be part of the team in the supply strategy development through understanding of current and future needs, analyzing market and company trends, performing the benchmarking of premier approaches, as well as finding opportunities to demonstrate changes in processes, systems and product/services. Then prioritize and drive the implementation based upon estimating timing and level of efficiency collected. 

  

Other responsibilities include ensuring department compliance to company policies and departmental procedures. You will be responsible for providing input back to leadership on the building and implementing department strategies, processes, and policy through active participation on teams and projects. 

  

Roles Responsibilities 

  • Be the single owner for site inventory management, perform DIO optimization through Excess & Obsolescence, Reserve, Scrap disposition with Inventory Team, Material/Site Planners, Warehouse & Finance.

  • Be the point of contact for site specific initiative, project and customer concern point of contact.

  • Be the site audit SPS (Quality audit, customer audit and compliance audit). Process owner for “Manage Materials”.

  • Drive Warehouse Capacity readiness to support production ramp through collaboration with Warehouse team and Materials Planning and Manufacturing.

  • Lead “Manage Source to Pay” metrics performance and status update in site staff meeting.

  • Weekly WOS (BOM and Indirect) status update reporting includes NPI materials. Attend site specific demand vs supply review.

  • Lead the Incoming Quality issue resolution, GR, Invoice & Pricing discrepancy reconciliation.

  • Proliferate BKM and drive improvement

  • Be the SME for procurement systems and tools and processes


Operations Functions

  • Support Leaders to work with direct and cross-functional teams to plan and calibrate on global strategic direction of supply assurance for Assembly and Test manufacturing sites

  • Be the accountable for site inventory management, perform DIO optimization through Excess & Obsolescence, Reserve, Scrap disposition and supply assurance with Material/Site Management

  • Be the Key point of contact for site specific initiative, project and customer concern point of contact.

  • Be the site audit SPS (Quality audit, customer audit and compliance audit). Process owner for “Manage Materials”.

  • Drive Warehouse Capacity readiness to support production ramp through collaboration with Warehouse team and Materials Planning and Manufacturing.

  • BKM and drive improvement

  • SME for system and tools and process

  • Provide insights and drive on procurement initiatives and efficient improvement


Collaborate with Stakeholders, Procurement Partners, and Suppliers on Supply Assurance Strategies

  • Ensure partner requirements are met with cost of ownership justification

  • Communicate strategic goals, supply fulfillment plans, initiatives and targets to collaborators, suppliers, and global procurement teams

  • Maintain relationships with senior executives at sites

  • Initiate and sustain effective communication with all collaborators.


Collaborate with Collaborators to Deliver Strategic Solutions

  • Develop and maintain expertise in Supply Assurance through relationships with collaborators, suppliers, and industry trends

  • Assist to implement or augment processes

  • Drive customer-centric approach to solving issues and representing Global Procurement

  • Maintain close interaction with procurement category teams to ensure comprehensive supply assurance approach

  • Lead conflict and establish effective relationships with internal and external collaborators

Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in: Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Related field of study 

  •  Minimum 5 years' experience in one or more of the following: Engineering, Purchasing/Procurement, Supply Chain 

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving attitude and skills. 

  • Possess communication and influencing ability and a persuasive advocate. 

  • Strong influencing and relationship management skills. 

  • Innovative and collaboration focused. 

  • Able to work independently as well as with a cross functional team. 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications and knowledge of SAP will be added advantage.
