Job description

  • Partner with the leadership team to develop and implement strategies that ensure long-term financial stability and optimize expenses.

  • Drive financial performance and support organizational goals.

  • Oversee all financial functions, including financial statement preparation, general ledger, cost accounting, fixed assets, accounts receivable, accounts payable, budgeting, and tax compliance such as VAT, income tax, and local filings.

  • Ensure financial systems, processes, and controls comply with regulatory and organizational standards.

  • Establish and maintain internal controls to support accurate and reliable financial reporting.

  • Manage monthly and quarterly financial close processes, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards.

  • Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate efficient review and audit processes.

  • Establish and manage a Shared Services function to deliver efficient financial accounting services across multiple regions.

  • Lead the implementation and optimization of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and other financial tools.

  • Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining strong internal controls.

  • Provide leadership and training to the finance team, fostering professional growth and alignment with organizational goals.

  • Perform other related duties to support the financial health and operational success of the organization.

Requirements

  • More than 15+ years of relevant experience in finance or accounting, with CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and practices, including US GAAP/SOX and local regulations.

  • Experience in managing financial systems and implementing ERP solutions.

  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage teams and work effectively across functions in dynamic environments.

  • Expertise in managing priorities with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
