Job description

As the Test Equipment Engineering Manager, your role involves overseeing the Equipment Engineering sections, leading a team of managers, engineers, and technicians. Collaboration with various functional groups locally and globally is essential to achieve organizational and business objectives. Responsibilities include maintaining control over processes, ensuring product quality and reliability, continuous yield improvement, cost reduction efforts, and effective risk management. You will also define and develop process capabilities, strategies, and roadmaps, while sustaining relevant business processes and equipment capabilities aligned with department goals.


  • Effectively communicate and update department goals, emphasizing continuous improvement.

  • Lead key performance indicators for efficiency in Cost, Quality, Cycle Time, and productivity.

  • Drive efficiency by eliminating redundancy and promoting innovative thinking.

  • Manage department costs and headcount in alignment with business plans, implementing strategic cost reduction.

  • Oversee the effectiveness and efficiency of Test processes within the Quality Management System framework.

  • Implement Quality Control measures, support audits, and enhance process capability through Statistical Process Control.

  • Ensure equipment performance meets expectations, collaborating globally to evaluate and procure tools.

  • Collaborate with Facilities and suppliers for safe and cost-effective equipment operation, driving improvements.

  • Manage engineering projects, develop short and long-term plans, and oversee new product startups.

  • Cultivate a motivating environment, fostering team member engagement and supporting learning opportunities.

  • Promote technical expertise through training and conferences, implementing succession management.

  • Support Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) activities, ensuring a positive EHSS environment.

  • Provide resources for EHSS responsibilities and enforce safety and environmental policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with more than 7 years of experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing/PCBA Manufacturing

  • Proficient in Management Execution and capable of Coaching and Development

  • Excellent Critical Thinking skills and demonstrates a Results-Driven approach

  • Upholds integrity
