Senior Staff Engineer - Product & Test

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible to develop and release high-quality test programs required by project per schedule.

  • Perform feasibility of test concept, design/implementation and finally to the validation of the test solution in silicon.

  • Work with design team from across all sites to formulate analog/mixed signal test solution.

  • Developing testing framework (software and hardware) for new product development over the available tester platform.

  • Defining test solution architecture, according to manufacturing strategies, and DFT (Design For Testability), according to the product datasheet and/or test specification

  • During the life cycle of the chip, be responsible for continuously improving test coverage and reducing test cost.

  • To carry out test plan implementations for test coverage improvement, test stabilization and test optimization activities.

  • Design, implement and debug ATE tester hardware ( Probecards, loadboard, fixtures )

  • To use high voltage test module from ATE tester to perform device testing and characterization in both FrontEnd and Backend.

  • Perform product engineering tasks in the framework of cross-functional teams

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of analog mixed-signal IC testing is desired. ( if experienced in ACDC SMPS IC related will be an advantage )

  • Solid understanding of test concepts on digital products, Structural knowledge is plus, and Mixed Signal test concepts & measurements.

  • Hands-on detail experience on test development with ATE testers like Teradyne ETS88 or Advantest 93K

  • Good verbal and written communication skills and able to work independently.

  • Strong sense of ownership and results-oriented on the work assigned.

  • Willing and able to work in cleanroom environment for an extended time.

  • Experienced in High voltage testing for Power IC devices or similar IC.

  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and high analytical thinking.
