
Job description
The General Manager, Korea is responsible for leading and expanding the company's business within the metrology, automotive, aviation, and electronics sectors. This role carries full P&L accountability and oversees sales, operations, customer engagement, and organizational leadership, driving profitable and sustainable growth across product lines including stationary CMMs (sCMM), portable CMMs (PCMM), metrology software, and automation solutions.

To deliver profitable market growth and position the company as a market leader in metrology and smart manufacturing solutions in Korea by driving commercial excellence, operational efficiency, and high-performance team development.
Core Responsibilities
Strategic & Commercial Leadership
Define growth strategy for Korea market across automotive, aviation, and electronics sectors.
Drive revenue expansion across sCMM, PCMM, software, and automation portfolios.
Build strategic partnerships, alliances, and channel engagement models.
Sales & Key Account Excellence
Lead commercial execution and revenue performance through direct and channel sales models.
Develop structured Key Account Management (KAM) programs and long-term customer partnerships.
Negotiate and secure major contracts, service agreements, and automation projects.
P&L & Business Performance
Own full P&L with responsibility for revenue, margins, pricing, and cost efficiency.
Lead financial planning, forecasting, and KPI tracking to achieve profitability targets.
Operations & Customer Satisfaction
Ensure on-time project delivery, quality service execution, and exceptional customer experience.
Drive continuous operational improvement and service performance excellence.
People Leadership & Capability Building
Build, inspire, and develop high-performing sales, operations, and account management teams.
Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, and commercial excellence.
Implement capability development, succession planning, and leadership training.
Requirements
Bachelor's in Engineering or Science; MBA preferred.
10+ years leadership experience in high-tech or industrial solutions with P&L ownership.
Proven track record in multi-product sales growth, channel development, and KAM leadership.
Strong understanding of Industry 4.0 and metrology market dynamics.
Strategic, commercially driven, influential leader with strong financial acumen and communication skills.
Fluent in English; strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capability.
