Job description
Responsible for leading a group of Engineers and manufacturing techicians organizing the technology NPI team and then transferring/ramping the process from RnD to HVM.
Accountable for improving positive employee relations and bring team to achieve all aspects of safety, quality, output capability and cost across all process/areas/ modules.
Lead site wide improvement Initiatives/standardization and build strong relationships with your peers across all factories.
Drive sustainable improvements through robust equipment/tool/system development.
Joint partnership with RnD and HVM team in deliver strategy program from mid to long term for DFM and cost.
Customer fronting, ensure prompt and accurate communications.
Drive closure of technical and Manufacturability gap to low risk prior to every critical milestone.
Manage overall project schedule balancing and alignment between RnD and HVM.
Lead team to problem solve complex issues or problems.
Partner and govern equipment selection roadmap with end in mind easier to maintain and sustain, cost efficient.
Drive and influence SCM to ensure equipment training, support and spare availability/management. Partner with cross functional team to set master design plan for each equipment.
Align mutual expectation document between RnD and HVM on engineering critical success indicator from Safety/EHS, Quality, Yield and Cost.
Drive Poka Yoka, automation, SMED, IOT and engineering/equipment data availability with affordable cost.
Requirements
BS/MS degree in engineering or a related discipline with technical management responsibilities.
Experience in development and technology transfers.
Strong technical leadership with indepth equipment/process engineering.
