Job description
Drive to reduce such defects coming to production to minimize disruption.
Establish Qualification plan for each supplier, verify and approve CTQs for supplier processes.
Validate measurement system capabilities used at supplier sites.
Ensure correlation of OQC/IQC between supplier and company.
Regular supplier assessment with Sourcing/Supply Chain group.
Lead Supplier Audits, follow-up on supplier audit and findings to ensure closure.
Establish regular reporting structure from the supplier and follow-up on any deviation/trends.
Feedback performance of material in company’s IQC/production.
Issue SCAR to supplier for NC material and follow-up on corrective actions until closure.
Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Engineering or equivalent with at least 3-8 years of relevant working experience in a semiconductor front end manufacturing environment.
Experienced on PCB, Flex PCB, correlation efforts and drive to reduce such defects coming to production to minimize disruption.
Knowledge and experience in Failure Analysis, material characterization, and statistical tools (DOE, SPC, FMEA etc).
To be on-site at supplier’s location when required, candidate must be able to travel when required.
Well-versed in Environmental Compliance (ROHS, etc).
Basic knowledge and skill in data analysis tool Minitab or JMP is a plus.
Strong problem solving ability, organization skills, and possess good interpersonal and communication skills.
Candidates with more years of relevant experience may be considered for senior position.
