Job description

  • Manage team of planners to overall schedule and delivery commitment goals.

  • Booking customer PO’s and schedule shipments; release fab lots and track work in progress(WIP).

  • Drive the supplier forecast process, ensure critical materials such as substrates, trays etc. are available for forecasted builds.

  • Monitor subcon commitments for wafer fab, assembly and test schedules and follow up in case of schedule slip.

  • Travel to visit subcons for face to face visit as necessary.

  • Hold weekly (or more frequent) telecon with subcons to track schedules.

  • Manage Production Purchase orders; ensure PO’s match quoted prices and formats; resolve discrepancies by working with PO Admin and Account Payables.

  • Ensure non-automated WIP receipts and movements are completed on a timely basis.

  • Ensure invoicing for non-automated product shipments are executed on a timely basis.

Requirements

  • 10 years experience in supply chain, planning or production management in Semiconductor with at least 5 of those years managing teams.

  • Must have proven customer management and communication skills.

  • Strong Semiconductor background including of Fab, Assembly, and Test manufacturing flows.

  • Strong numerical orientation with attention to detail in both accuracy and format.

  • Must be experienced in hands on usage of major ERP systems for order management, purchasing and production control.

  • Ability to work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Program Management.

  • Must have demonstrated ability to perform supply/demand balancing using both excel and ERP based tools and reports.

  • Identification and prioritization of problems related to WIP management which addresses early warning and recovery.
