Job description
Manage team of planners to overall schedule and delivery commitment goals.
Booking customer PO’s and schedule shipments; release fab lots and track work in progress(WIP).
Drive the supplier forecast process, ensure critical materials such as substrates, trays etc. are available for forecasted builds.
Monitor subcon commitments for wafer fab, assembly and test schedules and follow up in case of schedule slip.
Travel to visit subcons for face to face visit as necessary.
Hold weekly (or more frequent) telecon with subcons to track schedules.
Manage Production Purchase orders; ensure PO’s match quoted prices and formats; resolve discrepancies by working with PO Admin and Account Payables.
Ensure non-automated WIP receipts and movements are completed on a timely basis.
Ensure invoicing for non-automated product shipments are executed on a timely basis.
Requirements
10 years experience in supply chain, planning or production management in Semiconductor with at least 5 of those years managing teams.
Must have proven customer management and communication skills.
Strong Semiconductor background including of Fab, Assembly, and Test manufacturing flows.
Strong numerical orientation with attention to detail in both accuracy and format.
Must be experienced in hands on usage of major ERP systems for order management, purchasing and production control.
Ability to work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Program Management.
Must have demonstrated ability to perform supply/demand balancing using both excel and ERP based tools and reports.
Identification and prioritization of problems related to WIP management which addresses early warning and recovery.
