Job description

  • As HOD, Manage the purchasing department to meet the plant revenue, inventory management, material costs and customer requirements.

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies, processes, procedures and practices to achieve management Goals, Objectives and KPIs.

  • Ensure materials meet production build plan and customer forecast.

  • Ensure compliance to ISO 9001, 13485, 14001, FDA 21 CFR Part 820 QSR, EICC, regulatory and safety agencies.

  • Manage key supplier’s performance, VMI and JIT program.

  • Continuous improvement in processes, systems and purchasing operation.

  • Responsible for AOP & Team performance management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science or equivalent.

  • More than 10 years in supply chain and purchasing management position in electronics, medical/Life Science manufacturing industry.

  • Good interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

  • Highly motivated and energetic individual with the ability to work independently and team player.
