Job description
Lead the Assembly Operations team.
Develop and maintain manufacturing operations business plans to include all program requirements, labour hours, cycles, production costs, and organization image, ensuring that all established costs, quality and delivery commitments are met.
Work with the Business Unit (BU) / Business Line (BL) to support the program & platform development, program transfer & prove-in, and production ramp-up.
Identify problem solving and improvement projects, establish targets, organize resources, define technical requirements and develop plans to achieve cost and quality objectives.
Review production and operating reports and direct the resolution of operational, manufacturing and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
Enhance safety and quality programs to exceed company standards.
Act as a mentor to improve and develop staff.
Requirements
BS Degree in Electronics, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science or equivalent.
10+ years of experience in management of engineering organizations, with solid experience in Assembly Operations.
Strong initiative and leadership, analytical problem solving skills.
Possesses a quality and continuous improvement orientation.
Team player with excellent communication skill.
