Job description

  • Providing full legal support to the Group Companies in respect of a broad spectrum of matters, including but not limited to rendering of legal advice and handling of agreements in respect of:

  • Electricity and gas transmissions and distribution regulatory framework.

  • District cooling services and heating services in Singapore and overseas.

  • Operation of electric vehicle charging networks, microgrids and relevant renewable areas.

  • Mobile applications and digital platforms, including collaboration and partnerships with various parties, provision of payment services and other projects involving smart IoT devices.

  • Collaborations to drive research, development and implementation of next-generation energy solutions and technologies.

  • Procurement contracts including IT contracts for procuring hardware, software, license, SaaS and relevant services.

  • Intellectual Property: filing and maintenance of Group’s trademarks and patents in Singapore and overseas.

  • Implementation of data privacy regulations, analysis of relevant regulatory developments and handling incidents of personal data breaches.

    • Handling claims, investigations, disputes and related litigious matters.

    • Handling general corporate and commercial matters such as loan agreements, employment matters, mergers and acquisitions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Law from a recognized University, preferably admitted to the Singapore Bar.

  • At least 5 years post-qualification experience in practice and/or in-house.

  • Possess excellent legal analytical skills, drafting and negotiation skills.

  • Strong business acumen to understand business goals and strategy.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills.

  • Good initiative, able to drive projects and with a strong sense of accountability.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • A good team player.

  • Independent and able to lead with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines.
