Job description
Monitor and drive financial and operational performance of investee companies, including identifying strategic, financial and operational issues and recommend way forward.
Engage with people across all levels of investee companies to ensure business performance targets are met.
Review annual budget plan, monthly financial reports and forecasts submitted by investee companies.
Review and support in the financial analysis of investment proposals from investee companies.
Prepare presentations / reports on investment operations and performance to update Senior Management.
Perform research and analysis of industry peers, track industry developments and maintain a database of such analysis.
Assist in strategic review of investment portfolio, analyse existing business and external environment to formulate strategy to optimise returns.
Requirements
Minimally 3 years of working experience in Corporate Development / Strategic Planning, or a related role.
Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Accountancy, or a related discipline.
Strong analytical skills with sharp commercial and financial acumen. Good grasp of financial metrices would be preferred.
Ability to effectively engage internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.
Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-moving environment.
Self-motivated, driven, resourceful and results-oriented.
Experience in the energy or sustainability sectors would be preferred.
Traveling is required in this role.
