
Job description
Develops and deploys automation solutions to support high-volume manufacturing and new product introduction.
Key Responsibilities
Design automated equipment for assembly, testing, and inspection.
Integrate robotics, PLCs, vision systems, and other automation technologies into production.
Translate product designs into automation-ready manufacturing processes and support DFx initiatives.
Identify automation opportunities to improve throughput, reduce cycle time, and eliminate manual work.
Support pilot builds, troubleshoot equipment issues, and implement CAPA actions.
Ensure systems comply with validation and safety standards.
Provide training to production teams and collaborate with suppliers on technical solutions.
Requirements
Engineering degree in automation, mechatronics, electrical/electronics, or mechanical engineering with at least 3–7 years of automation or equipment engineering experience.
Understanding of manufacturing processes in optical/semiconductor environments.
Expertise in PLC programming, robotics, SCADA/MES, vision systems, and CAD tools.
Strong analytical and project management abilities.
