Job description
Execute and monitor the Materials Requirement Plan (MRP) to meet production schedules and address supply issues.
Ensure material availability through on-time delivery and coordination from receiving to production.
Manage Purchase Orders—issue POs with agreed pricing/terms and enforce supplier compliance.
Maintain master data and planning parameters to balance procurement costs with inventory levels.
Minimize materials liabilities by clarifying ownership and leveraging negotiated supplier terms.
Track and improve supplier delivery, quality, and service performance; work with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies.
Support Company’s commodity and pricing strategies through feedback to Commodity Managers and SCM.
Optimize order management and control materials freight expenses.
Adhere to all safety, health, and security policies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree.
3–5 years of procurement or supply chain experience.
Proficient with Windows-based PC and Company software.
Strong analytical skills: basic algebra, geometry, and ability to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities; able to present to management and define issues clearly.
Competent in reading and interpreting instructions, correspondence, and visual aids.
Able to perform basic arithmetic, interpret graphs, and handle standardized tasks independently.
