Job description
Develop and implement commodity strategies, fostering supplier development through collaboration and innovation.
Maintain awareness of industry trends and market dynamics to proactively address supply chain needs.
Use contracting, negotiation, risk management, and supplier relationship skills to secure sustainable cost, quality, availability, and technology solutions.
Ensure that commodity supply aligns with business demand and cost goals.
Review and adjust sourcing strategies in response to changing market conditions and create contingency plans for business continuity.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to optimize the supply chain, set cost targets, and define cost-reduction roadmaps.
Lead supplier evaluation, analysis, and sourcing activities for designated commodities.
Develop and monitor performance metrics to support continuous supplier improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply chain, Engineering or related field.
Strong background in sourcing, commercial or category management.
