Champion new product development including business case development, market assessment, opportunity prioritization, and ensuring operational and commercial readiness for launch.
Responsible for defining the product assortment, selecting and managing vendor relationships/partnerships, defining the overall value proposition (price/quality) and product positioning, increasing overall market share penetration, monitoring and developing action plans to address competitor strategies/positioning, determining distribution strategies and working closely with Commercial team on promotional strategies to drive profitable demand.
Provide product leadership and marketing in terms of product strategy, product management, and application engineering support.
Constant surveillance of market conditions and competitors' products; defines marketing and product strategies and benchmarking relative to the competition.
Develop and execute voice of customer plans to gain customer/market needs and requirements.
Product training presentations to business development personnel and customers.
Bachelor Degree in Business or Engineering.
10-12 years of product development and product management experience.
HVAC, building management system and/or energy efficiency technology knowledge.
High level of personal initiative combined with commercial acumen, good planning and organizational skills.
Strong professional and intellectual communication skills, both verbal and written.
