Job description
Play an analytical role in business model development, deal structuring, commercial risk assessment, modelling and financial analysis of M&A transactions and energy projects.
Develop fact-based assumptions, prepare financial valuation models and perform key quantitative analyses including ROIC, accretion and dilution analyses, comparable companies’ analyses, and discounted cash flow analyses.
Support the due diligence process, including framing due diligence commercial objectives, risk assessments, supporting due diligence teams, and coordinating in the reporting of due diligence findings for a target entity, such as analysing the operating model and associated integration plans for business and back-office functions.
Work with the business development team in seeking final approvals of M&A transactions as well as delivering well communicated, balanced, and comprehensive analyses for each stage of the M&A transactions or energy projects development.
Prepare presentation materials and other documentation in the course of executing M&A transactions or energy projects development.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in a financial analysis, due diligence and/or corporate finance role.
Experience in sustainable energy/power projects and working in the energy/power sector would be beneficial.
Highly proficient in financial modelling and analysis, Excel and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication, presentation and business writing skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple, time critical projects simultaneously.
Meticulous, self-motivated, resourceful and with a strong sense of initiative and business acumen.
