Job description
Undertake market studies on the developments in sustainable energy in order to derive strategic implications and opportunities for market entry.
Identify markets, geographies, and technologies that complement the overall M&A and energy project development strategy and translate these analyses into specified targets.
Plan and provide support for due diligence activities including gathering market information and assessing market dynamics, providing insights on competitive landscape, and keeping up-to-date with regulatory and relevant government policies in order to enable informed decision-making for M&A transactions and development of energy projects.
Gather important information regarding risks and opportunities for M&A activities and development of energy projects, translating this information into fact-based and well-reasoned insights on the valuation and structural impact of the opportunity.
Prepare presentation materials and other documentation in the course of executing transactions and for marketing purposes.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in a strategic planning, market analysis, due diligence and/or investment role.
Experience in sustainable energy/power projects and working in the energy/power sector would be beneficial.
Highly proficient in market analysis, PowerPoint, Word and Excel to present findings, analyses and insights.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings, with good communication and business writing skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple, time critical projects simultaneously.
Meticulous, self-motivated, resourceful and with a strong sense of initiative and business acumen.
