Job description

  • Undertake market studies on the developments in sustainable energy in order to derive strategic implications and opportunities for market entry.

  • Identify markets, geographies, and technologies that complement the overall M&A and energy project development strategy and translate these analyses into specified targets.

  • Plan and provide support for due diligence activities including gathering market information and assessing market dynamics, providing insights on competitive landscape, and keeping up-to-date with regulatory and relevant government policies in order to enable informed decision-making for M&A transactions and development of energy projects.

  • Gather important information regarding risks and opportunities for M&A activities and development of energy projects, translating this information into fact-based and well-reasoned insights on the valuation and structural impact of the opportunity.

  • Prepare presentation materials and other documentation in the course of executing transactions and for marketing purposes.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in a strategic planning, market analysis, due diligence and/or investment role.

  • Experience in sustainable energy/power projects and working in the energy/power sector would be beneficial.

  • Highly proficient in market analysis, PowerPoint, Word and Excel to present findings, analyses and insights.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings, with good communication and business writing skills.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple, time critical projects simultaneously.

  • Meticulous, self-motivated, resourceful and with a strong sense of initiative and business acumen.
