Primarily to originate integrated energy opportunities & projects in selected Asia Pacific countries.
Build and sustain a pipeline of integrated energy opportunities & projects.
End-to-end coordination and execution of transactions including commercial, financial, technical and legal workstreams.
Market research and analysis on industry peers, track market and regulatory developments in various geographies.
Perform business and commercial reviews to support the development of strategic plans and investment decisions.
Engage with people across all levels internally and externally to support investment activities.
Prepare presentations / reports on investment activities and performance to update Senior Management.
Strong network in Asia Pacific to originate integrated energy opportunities.
Minimally 15 years of working experience in energy or sustainability sectors in M&A / Business Development / Corporate Development / Strategic Planning, or a related role.
Bachelor degree in Business, Finance, Accountancy, Engineering or a related discipline.
Strong analytical skills with sharp commercial and financial acumen. Good grasp of financial metrices would be preferred.
Ability to effectively engage internal and external stakeholders at a senior level.
Ability to work independently and in a team in a fast-moving environment.
Self-motivated, driven, resourceful and results-oriented.
Additional languages (such as Mandarin, Arabic, etc) a plus.
Ability to travel frequently between regional offices and portfolio projects / companies as required.
