Job description

This role is responsible for driving technological advancement, fostering collaboration across internal and external partners, and strengthening the company’s position as a leader in precision engineering and smart manufacturing solutions.


What You'll Do

  • Develop and deliver innovative engineering solutions for multinational OEMs, semiconductor manufacturers, and emerging technology partners.

  • Collaborate with customers’ R&D teams to co-develop advanced products, tooling systems, and automated testing solutions tailored to next-generation semiconductor production.

  • Lead research and technology development programs in precision tooling, automation, process optimization, and digital manufacturing — advancing the company’s engineering capabilities and product differentiation.

  • Build partnerships with research and academic institutions (e.g., A*STAR, ARTC, SimTech, Polytechnics, and Universities) to promote applied R&D and accelerate technology adoption.

  • Establish the Innovation Centre as a platform for talent development, providing opportunities for employees, interns, and collaborators to advance skills in precision engineering and semiconductor technologies.

Requirements

  • Recognized Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline from a reputable institution.

  • 10 to 15 years of leadership experience in Innovation, R&D, or Engineering within the semiconductor equipment, precision tooling, or automation sectors.

  • Proven track record of leading high-technology teams and delivering impactful innovations from concept to commercialization.

  • A globally connected industry professional, well-versed in semiconductor manufacturing, automation, and advanced precision engineering.
