Job description
Supply chain management responsibility that includes production planning for entire fab and backend assembly and test, external manufacturing planning and engineering, procurement and backend operations management.
Back end operations responsibility includes post wafer fab operations like bar to die cleave, coat, testing, and COS and BTF burn-in execution.
Responsible to manage business relationships with Denselight external manufacturing suppliers (OSAT suppliers & CMs) in areas such as performing packaging & Module assembly and testing operations of DenseLight products.
Responsible for pricing negotiations and supplier relationship.
Chair regular business reviews with key suppliers to ensure all key metrics are being met and adequately addressed, and submit regular formalized feedback to the suppliers on their performance.
Support external manufacturing technical and planning teams to deliver Denselight goals.
Identify and evaluate new contract manufacturing suppliers.
Responsible for the management of the procurement department to ensure all Denselight procurement needs are supported.
Responsible for oversight of the purchase requisition system and approvals and ensure timely issuance of purchase orders to suppliers, track delivery schedules, and do goods receiving.
Develop, hone and execute new improved procurement strategies and procedures across the company to improve efficiency, timely delivery and lowest costs.
Institute policies and procedures for collecting and reporting key metrics that will reduce our overall expenses while increasing productivity.
Communicate with vendors, clients, customers, team members, and managers to align goals.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in relevant Engineering/Supplier Management background with at least of 15 years of experience in managing subcontractors, preferably semiconductor/photonics outsourcing process.
Knowledge in best practices of supply chain management and strategies in semiconductor manufacturing assembly, module assembly and test engineering processes.
Strong analytical skill, and has written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to communicate to all levels with both internally and externally stakeholders.
Ability to work in a team environment both as a leader as well as team player contributor.
Comfortable with a high-paced, diverse, multi-cultural, and global environment.
Ability to manage and develop relationship with key business partners.
Must be willing to travel and ability to speak Chinese is an advantage.
