Job description

  • To Lead Engineering teams to achieve the company’s objectives and to deliver product launches on time with minimum cost impact.

  • Technical liason to supplier and customer on the critical process,product and test issues.

  • Lead cross functional teams to deliver product launches on time with minimum cost impact.

  • Participate in the problem solving and improvement activities for process,test and products.

  • Engineering support for the day-to-day operational issues with the goal of meeting customer delivery requirements.

  • Involve in supplier quality improvement and support supply chain issue.

  • Work closely with design, manufacturing and quality teams on technical aspect of the product.

  • Involve in product cost reduction activity and support product EOL activities by minimizing scrap.

  • Monitors manufacturing yields and scrap trends related to process, product and others and take appropriate actions for improvement.

  • Seek opportunities to improve on productivity and cost reduction.

  • Provide necessary guidance(technical and non technical) to subordinate to ensure success of the the production and product launch.

  • Maintain and carry out improvement projects to enhance individual product deparment target set.

  • Prepare documentation to fulfil ISO or quality system.

  • Improve subordinate capability and efficiency.

  • Provide growing opportunity for subordinate.

  • Review and approve Engineering Change, document change and subordinate overtime, line qualification and deviation.

  • Perform other duties as and when required by the company.


  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with minimum 6 years relevant working experience in supervisory level or an equivalent combination of education, training and/ or work experience.

  • Possess strong leadership, technical competencies and analytical capabilities.

  • A team player and able to interact effectively with all levels within the company.
