Job description

Support the stable operation of CMP equipment within a semiconductor wafer fabrication environment. The role covers equipment maintenance, fault recovery, performance improvement and shift-based production support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot equipment faults and restore tools to production promptly.

  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.

  • Monitor tool availability, reliability and overall performance.

  • Investigate recurring failures and implement lasting corrective actions.

  • Improve equipment capability, productivity and operating costs.

  • Maintain technical procedures, troubleshooting guides and maintenance records.

  • Plan spare-parts and consumable requirements within the approved budget.

  • Support new equipment installation, commissioning and production ramp-up.

  • Participate in equipment improvement and cost-of-ownership initiatives.

  • Train and provide technical guidance to Assistant Engineers.

  • Maintain compliance with quality, safety and housekeeping standards.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering; or a relevant Diploma with at least four years of semiconductor equipment maintenance experience.

  • Up to three years of relevant semiconductor experience; fresh graduates may be considered.

  • Experience with high-vacuum systems and basic wafer-fabrication equipment knowledge.

  • Able to interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics.

  • Willing to work rotating shifts.
