Job description
Support the stable operation of CMP equipment within a semiconductor wafer fabrication environment. The role covers equipment maintenance, fault recovery, performance improvement and shift-based production support.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot equipment faults and restore tools to production promptly.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
Monitor tool availability, reliability and overall performance.
Investigate recurring failures and implement lasting corrective actions.
Improve equipment capability, productivity and operating costs.
Maintain technical procedures, troubleshooting guides and maintenance records.
Plan spare-parts and consumable requirements within the approved budget.
Support new equipment installation, commissioning and production ramp-up.
Participate in equipment improvement and cost-of-ownership initiatives.
Train and provide technical guidance to Assistant Engineers.
Maintain compliance with quality, safety and housekeeping standards.
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering; or a relevant Diploma with at least four years of semiconductor equipment maintenance experience.
Up to three years of relevant semiconductor experience; fresh graduates may be considered.
Experience with high-vacuum systems and basic wafer-fabrication equipment knowledge.
Able to interpret electrical and pneumatic schematics.
Willing to work rotating shifts.
