Job description
Leads the engineering team responsible for developing, qualifying, and deploying new equipment and technologies into mass production.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee development and installation of new equipment, including customization for production needs.
Collaborate with R&D and process engineering for technology development and production readiness.
Manage equipment lifecycle activities—design, testing, ramp-up, and ongoing performance monitoring.
Support capability, yield, and quality improvement initiatives.
Lead a team of equipment engineers in optimization, problem solving, and continuous improvement.
Promote a culture of safety, innovation, and accountability.
Communicate progress to management and customers and drive alignment across teams.
Requirements
At least 10 years in equipment engineering within semiconductor or optical manufacturing.
Degree in mechatronics, electronics, photonics, physics, or optics.
Broad familiarity with CMP, grinding, dicing, thin-film coating, CNC, data analysis, DOE, and statistical methods.
