Job description
Responsible for managing the ERP deliverables and team at Penang site.
Responsible to manage the ERP operations and project teams.
Plans, manages, and evaluates the work of assigned SAP/ERP production support and project teams in the various areas of ERP.
Defines and develops systems strategies and standards, defines the scope of projects, coordinates project schedules, and monitors performance and progress.
Interfaces with functional unit process owners and users to identify, define, and document operational needs and objectives.
Applies functional knowledge to guide in design and customizing systems that provide seamless integration for SAP systems and ERP systems modules.
Interfaces with Business process owners to interpret and clarify complex configuration details and process change requirements involving SAP systems and ERP student systems modules.
Plans and manages SAP production support and Project schedules quality budget.
Manages work efforts between functional and technical teams engaged in the analysis, design, configuration, testing, maintenance, and quality assurance of SAP systems.
Reviews feasibility studies conducted by leads and evaluates recommendations regarding requirements for new systems and enhancements to existing systems and ensures that the systems design fits the needs of the users.
Maintains effective and cooperative working relationships with process owners, administrators, functional and technical team members, and users.
Coordinates and participates in user and support training involving the usage of SAP systems.
Reviews the performance, mentor the team.
Act as escalation point for any ERP issues at Site.
Requirements
Minimum 4 years bachelor degree, master degree is preferred.
At least 15 years of experience in this field with at least 5 years in management role (inclined people’s management).
Experience in SAP area is must.
