Job description
Provide leadership and direction for all Electrical Facilities systems (high-voltage distribution, substations, UPS, emergency power, cleanroom systems, lighting, and power monitoring).
Lead the planning, installation, and commissioning of major electrical infrastructure upgrades and expansion projects to support business growth and technology transitions
Oversee and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime, reliability, and compliance with safety/regulatory standards.
Drive root cause analysis and long-term corrective actions for complex system issues and failures.
Serve as technical authority for system performance reviews, capacity planning, and utility consumption optimization.
Lead and mentor a team of engineers and contractors, fostering technical excellence, problem-solving capability, and knowledge transfer.
Develop and enforce best-in-class engineering standards, operating procedures, and safety protocols across facilities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, EHS, Procurement, Project Management) to deliver integrated solutions that meet production and cost targets.
Evaluate and recommend adoption of emerging technologies, automation, and energy efficiency initiatives to enhance operational sustainability.Â
Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and long-term investment planning for electrical facilities systems.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or equivalent.
10+ years of relevant experience in semiconductor fabs, high-tech manufacturing, or large-scale industrial plants; with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
Deep expertise in high-voltage systems, electrical distribution, cleanroom electrical facilities, critical backup power systems, and industrial automation/control.
Strong knowledge of safety standards, reliability engineering, and regulatory compliance in facilities operations.
Proven experience in leading large projects, managing contractors/vendors, and optimizing CAPEX/OPEX.
Excellent leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and build high-performing engineering teams.
