Job description

  • Manage factory planning, materials planning for factory consumption, NPI planning, and

    logistics.

  • Weekly production planning- and control of factory.

  • Work Order creation and inventory movements to load manufacturing floor and prepare customer shipments in time, with high inventory integrity and in compliance with security, SOX and QM policies (shift operation).

  • Optimize storage and storage-system of material to save space, manpower and cost and secure compliances.

  • Forwarder & transport management (schedules, transit times, customs, inco-terms, rates, cost, space, cargo handling, freight loss & damage, service performance monitoring) for worldwide customer volume-, sample- and subcontractor shipments including third party logistic provider.

  • Ensure compliance for all customs related issues like invoicing, foreign currency control declaration or HTS & ECCN import / export codes.

  • Hire, develops and coaches subordinates for continues improvement of the department and career development of staff.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Economic/ engineering or Master’s with minimum 10 years of working experience in Supply Chain Planning/Materials Planning.

  • Strong leadership ability and social skills towards global and cross-functional teams.

  • Strong interpersonal skills - ability to collaborate with and motivate international key players to achieve desired results in a professional and diplomatic manner.

  • Able to work across with teams from different cultural background in a global time zone.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interface effectively and professionally internal contacts at all levels of the organization.

  • Analytical problem solver with demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment while working independently to resolve critical factory planning or logistics issues.

  • Proactive and driver ship approach to anticipating issues, enforcing decisions, balancing opportunities and mitigating risks as early as possible. High performance and efficient worker with a track record of delivering on commitments.
