Job description
To support the business expansion in ASEAN, Korea and Japan.
Drive design-ins of thyristors, MOSFETs, IGBTs, diodes, and other power semiconductor devices.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify and pursue new business and design-in opportunities.
Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to customers. Propose right devices based on customer's application requirements.
Provide timely and quality technical support to customers on application and design-related issues.
Monitor and keep good track record of design-in activities and ensure design-win is achieved.
Collaborate with Application Engineer team to validate product performance and reliability in customer's applications.
Initiate and follow up failure analysis when required. Work with internal quality and engineering teams to identify root-cause and countermeasures.
Contributes to product roadmaps by providing feedback on customer/application requirements and market trends. Work closely with customers and internal teams to develop tailored solutions.
Conduct technical seminars, product training, and application workshops for distributors, customers and internal teams.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, or related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in Electronics Industry, with good knowledge of power electronics
Good communication skills in both English and Mandarin (for effective communication with the China team). Able to fully understand customer’s needs and requirements
This role may require frequent traveling, including international travels
