
Job description
Our client is seeking a hands-on Financial Accounting Manager to lead accounting and financial reporting for a newly established manufacturing facility in Bac Ninh, taking ownership of building processes from scratch, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering reliable financial insights to support both start-up and ongoing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and inventory
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring timely and accurate closing
Ensure compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), the Law on Accounting, and group reporting requirements
Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal control frameworks
Support the financial setup of the manufacturing site, including system implementation and cost structure design
Manage product costing, standard costing, and variance analysis
Monitor inventory valuation and implement effective control measures
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and statutory requirements
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities
Support corporate tax, VAT, and transfer pricing documentation
Oversee cash flow and working capital management
Strengthen internal controls and risk management practices
Provide financial insights and analysis to plant leadership
Support budgeting and forecasting activities
Collaborate with regional and headquarters finance teams
Act as Chief Accountant and ensure full compliance with applicable laws and standards
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline with at least 8–12 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and local tax regulations
Hands-on experience with ERP systems
Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent is an advantage
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
