Job description

Ensures automotive systems meet functional safety standards across development and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute safety activities aligned with ISO 26262 requirements

  • Develop safety deliverables including HARA, safety concepts, and safety requirements

  • Conduct safety analyses such as FMEA, FTA, and FMEDA

  • Support the full safety lifecycle across automotive projects

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance

  • Interface with customers and stakeholders on safety-related matters

  • Review and assess customer safety requirements and feasibility

Requirements

  • Strong experience working with ISO 26262 across multiple lifecycle stages

  • Hands-on experience in automotive safety development projects

  • Background in system, hardware, or software safety engineering

  • Good understanding of safety documentation and deliverables

  • Strong communication and coordination skills

  • Experience in ADAS, autonomous driving, or intelligent cockpit systems is advantageous

  • Knowledge of SOTIF, AI safety, or automotive cybersecurity is beneficial

  • TÜV functional safety certification or similar credentials are a plus

  • Experience working with OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers is preferred
