Job description

Reporting to the CEO, the General Manager ensures the business runs effectively across operations, commercial performance, and organizational execution. This position provides leadership in translating company direction into practical action, driving performance improvements, strengthening customer engagement, and supporting sustainable growth.



Key Responsibilities


  • Lead and oversee overall business operations to ensure optimal performance, operational excellence, and alignment with organizational objectives.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and cost effectiveness across all functions.

  • Execute business strategies and operational plans to support sustainable growth and long-term value creation.

  • Monitor and analyze sales and financial performance, implementing corrective actions and strategic initiatives to achieve targets.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Business Development teams to strengthen revenue generation, expand market presence, and enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Champion talent development by implementing effective training, coaching, and succession planning initiatives.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships while safeguarding and enhancing the company’s brand reputation.

  • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation, while ensuring full compliance with workplace safety, regulatory, and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

  • Proven experience within plastic injection molding or a broader manufacturing environment.

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in plastic injection molding, or at least 15 years within the manufacturing sector.

  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with strong commercial acumen and experience in sales and business management.

  • Solid analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial and operational performance to support decision-making.

  • Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail and a high level of commercial awareness.
