Job description
Establish and implement systems and procedures for capacity planning so as to standardise, improve response to customers and enable asset optimization.
Ensure that IE KPIs and corporate objectives are met.
Lead project to automate capacity planning model from concept to UAT.
Lead a team of capacity managers and engineers to maximize capacity to meet customer demand within the approved capital expense budget.
Work closely with Procurement, Productivity and Equipment Process Innovation teams to provide proposals for capacity improvement solutions.
Ensure that capital budget are spent within approved budget and are allocated based on strategic businesses and initiative, and establish dynamic processes to respond to fast changing business environment.
Lead cross functional project team(s) to drive transfer of businesses across factories.
Provide regular reviews to Executive Management on progress and key milestones.
Champion decision making processes for capital investment and capacity commitment with Demand Management, Sales, Pricing, Operations and Product Technology Marketing teams.
Take on special projects as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering. MBA will be an advantage.
Minimum 10 years of experience in semiconductor operations, preferably in Industrial Engineering or Operations.
Experienced in capital expense justifications and control procedures.
Strategic leadership and good communication skills with multiple cultural exposures.
Analytical and detailed.
