Job description

As Module Manufacturing Manager, you will lead a team of professionals, supervisors and production operators to attain manufacturing output with high product quality in a cost efficient manner. 


Responsibilities and Tasks 


As a Department Manager: 

  • Lead manufacturing area managers in efficiency meetings, determining tactics and strategies to meet weekly output and supply plans. 

  • Collaborate with Module functional groups, planning and other departments to optimize tester deployment, conversion plan and people deployment. 

  • Ensure manufacturing environment is safe and team members have a culture of excellent housekeeping. 

  • Deploy strategies to optimize deployment of workforce to meet department output and cost plan. 

  • Instill a culture of Quality in team members. 


In the role of a Manufacturing Manager: 

  • Communicate department goals and provide periodic department updates to review current status and future goals. 

  • Identify, manage and supervise key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department. 

  • Drive for efficiency in all work processes, removing redundant work 

  • Drive for continuous improvement in department key objectives. Eg Cost, Quality, Cycle Time, productivity. 

  • Articulate compelling and inspiring visions and strategies. 

  • Foster an environment where innovative thinking and intelligent risk taking is promoted. 

  • Manage and supervise costs/headcount within your department according to business plans. 

  • Drive innovative, strategic solutions for cost reduction. 

  • Recruit effectively both internally and externally. 

Requirements

Education Required : Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Management  

Experience: Minimum 7 years of experience in Manufacturing.  

Qualifications :  

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the worldwide factory network functions. 

  • Good leadership skill in mentoring and managing the performance of team members. 

  • Effective communication through multiple levels of the organization. 

  • Excellent Project management skills. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Good analytical, communication, interpersonal and decision making skills with strong interest to work in a dynamic environment 

  • An understanding of Manufacturing Science (Manufacturing, inventory management, capacity planning, lean manufacturing, etc…)
