
Job description
Production & Operations Management
Plan, organize, and manage production activities to meet customer demand and delivery schedules.
Monitor key manufacturing KPIs (yield, efficiency, downtime, etc.) and take corrective actions where necessary.
Ensure adherence to manufacturing standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership & Development
Supervise and develop production supervisors and line leaders.
Drive a culture of accountability, safety, and teamwork across the shop floor.
Conduct regular performance reviews and training initiatives for continuous skill development.
Quality & Compliance
Enforce quality assurance policies and ensure compliance with ISO, QMS, and customer standards.
Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production-related quality issues.
Continuous Improvement
Identify and implement lean manufacturing, 5S, and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, maintenance, QA) to resolve production issues and support new product introductions.
Resource & Cost Management
Manage production budgets, labor planning, and material usage to control costs.
Optimize use of equipment, manpower, and materials for cost-effective production.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in manufacturing, including 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong knowledge of production planning, quality systems, and lean principles.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems.
