Job description
Our client is looking for a Design Engineer to support the design and development of mechanical assemblies and components from concept through production. The role focuses on precise modeling, technical documentation, and close collaboration with project teams to deliver high-quality engineered solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop detailed 3D mechanical models and engineering drawings using industry-standard CAD tools
Participate in product design activities, including concept evaluation, feasibility checks, and tolerance assessments
Assist in the optimization of existing designs to improve manufacturability and performance
Generate and manage engineering documentation, such as part lists, layouts, and reports
Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and project teams to ensure alignment with technical and schedule requirements
Follow engineering standards and procedures to maintain consistency and accuracy across deliverables
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field with at least 2–3 years of professional experience in mechanical or product design.
Proficiency with 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar)
Understanding of geometric dimensioning, tolerancing, and design for manufacturing principles
Strong analytical thinking, precision, and ownership of assigned tasks
Able to work both independently and collaboratively within project teams
