Job description
Responsible for advanced mechanical simulations, this role critically supports the product design phase by predicting and improving structural integrity through detailed analysis.
Responsibilities:
Perform finite element analysis (FEA) to simulate stress, strain, and deformation under various load conditions, using industry-standard tools like ANSYS and ABAQUS.
Translate complex FEA data into actionable design modifications to enhance product durability and manufacturability.
Collaborate with design and process engineers to implement simulation findings in product development, ensuring that designs meet both functional and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with advanced training or a Master’s degree focused on mechanical simulations or material science.
Minimum 10 years of experience in a simulation role, with extensive expertise in mechanical properties of materials and their behavior under stress.
Proficient in FEM software for mechanical design and analysis, with a strong capability in numerical methods and tools such as Matlab or Python for data analysis and simulation automation.
