Job description
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Planning Director to lead global team and drive end-to-end supply chain and digital transformation initiatives. This role is responsible for optimizing processes, building organizational capabilities, and ensuring operational excellence across international supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership to global teams, driving planning, supply chain, and digitalization projects.
Develop and implement process optimization and harmonization strategies to achieve efficiency and resilience.
Define and oversee cost-effective workflows for new routes, partners, and processes in alignment with key stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional functions to strengthen staff competencies and deliver sustainable business outcomes.
Analyze, interpret, and present complex data in a clear, structured, and impactful way to multi-cultural stakeholders.
Foster a people- and asset-focused culture to maximize organizational performance and collaboration.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards through process audits and reviews.
Partner with enabling teams to ensure new supply chain initiatives are embedded within the company’s planning and operations framework.
Requirements
10+ years of supply chain and planning experience, with proven success leading global teams.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
Strong knowledge of IT systems; SAP expertise is highly advantageous.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across all organizational levels and geographies.
Demonstrated track record in driving process optimization, transformation, and operational excellence in a global environment.
Strategic mindset with strong leadership and team development capabilities.
