
Job description
Lead the transfer of manufacturing processes from development into full-scale production.
Support production ramp activities, including qualification builds, process validation, and yield stabilization.
Implement and monitor process control systems, including SPC and capability tracking.
Support equipment installation, qualification, and commissioning in collaboration with global teams and vendors.
Investigate process deviations and drive improvements using structured problem-solving tools (e.g., DOE, DMAIC, 8D).
Lead initiatives to improve yield, reduce scrap, and optimize cycle time and manufacturing costs.
Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams across global locations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
6+ years of experience in high-volume manufacturing environments, preferably in roll-to-roll processes, or precision continuous manufacturing.
Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher).
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, process control (SPC, CPK, DOE), and root-cause analysis methodologies.
Experience supporting production ramp and new product introduction (NPI) through mass production.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams.
