Job description
Our client is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to lead the transition of manufacturing processes from development into high-volume production, ensuring stable, scalable, and cost-efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead process transfer, production ramp, and process validation activities
Establish and maintain process control systems (SPC, CPK, monitoring)
Develop and standardize manufacturing documentation (SOPs, control plans)
Support equipment installation, commissioning, and vendor coordination
Troubleshoot process and equipment issues to meet production targets
Drive yield improvement, cost reduction, and cycle time optimization
Lead structured root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Identify risks and deploy mitigation strategies
Collaborate closely with cross-functional and global teams
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
6+ years of experience in high-volume manufacturing environments
Proven experience scaling from NPI to mass production
Strong expertise in process control, mechanical systems, and problem-solving
Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
Six Sigma certification preferred
