Job description
Our client is seeking a Principal Test Engineer to lead test strategy development and drive improvements in product quality, test efficiency, and manufacturing performance within a semiconductor environment.Â
Key Responsibilities
Develop and lead the implementation of robust and scalable test strategies aimed at optimizing yield, cost, and coverage.
Drive standardization and continuous improvement of test processes across multiple global manufacturing sites.
Collaborate with product, process, and manufacturing teams to troubleshoot test-related issues and support root cause investigations.
Manage test-related engineering tools and applications, including gathering technical requirements and aligning with roadmap priorities.
Analyze large volumes of test and manufacturing data to identify trends, correlations, and areas for improvement.
Support process and product development with meaningful test insights and data-driven recommendations.
Participate in digitalization and data projects where applicable; familiarity with advanced analytics or automation is a plus.
Requirements
Master’s or PhD in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in semiconductor test engineering or product engineering.
Deep understanding of test development, test methodologies, and manufacturing test flows.
Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., 8D, Lean, Six Sigma).
Knowledge of data automation or AI applications in a test environment is beneficial but not required.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
