Job description
This role supports precision manufacturing by improving process performance, ensuring consistent product quality, and driving efficiency through technical analysis and automation.
Key Responsibilities
Design, adjust, and optimize production processes to support product performance requirements, using simulations and analytical tools to validate improvements.
Lead quality-focused initiatives to improve dimensional accuracy, functional performance, and overall process stability while meeting customer specifications.
Evaluate and enhance production performance by analyzing factors such as manpower, equipment, materials, workflow, and measurement systems.
Identify cost-reduction opportunities and carry out value-engineering activities to establish more efficient and cost-effective process setups.
Conduct problem-solving activities using statistical and technical analysis to determine root causes of defects and implement corrective actions.
Support automation and digitalization projects ranging from small upgrades to large-scale implementations to increase efficiency, reduce manual work, and improve throughput.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, with hands-on experience in 3-axis or 5-axis CNC machining.
3–5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of single-side and double-side polishing processes.
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and NX Siemens CAD/CAM.
Experience in automation or project management is an advantage.
