Job description
Manage new projects from customer enquiries to production phase.
Control project margin to be within budget.
Handle RFQ process and respond the cost and lead time info on a timely manner.
Provide direction and support to project and product teams.
Monitor project status to ensure on time deliveries.
Communicate effectively with Business Development Team and Product Management Team around the world to ensure that customers are supported and prospects monitored in a professional manner.
Handle different functions, such as strategic planning, organizing, minute details of the project(s).
Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables.
Generate a Project Plan when necessary with constantly monitoring and reports on progress.
Provide direction and support to project and product team. o Crisis Management to take lead and help resolve the issue in the shortest time possible o Motivate the team to accomplish the necessary requirements even with sudden changes o Foresee project developments to gauge whether the project is heading on track or not; and make necessary adjustment to ensure success.
Constantly monitor, prepare and provide all necessary project reports as required by Management or customers or various stakeholders of the project(s).
Conduct closure project meeting to examine results and lesson learnt.
Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Engineering with Post Graduate in Business/Marketing modules.
At least 3 years relevant working experience.
Good exposure in Project or Product Management.
Strong business acumen with good appreciation of the business levers to help achieve targets.
Confident, highly motivated with excellence presentation skills.
Dynamic energetic with strong multitasking ability.
