Job description
Focused on enhancing manufacturing processes, this role involves the development of novel methods and technologies for automated assembly in high-volume settings.
Responsibilities:
Innovate and design automated assembly processes, employing state-of-the-art CAD tools and simulation software to prototype and refine process designs.
Evaluate and optimize the performance of new manufacturing methods, using rigorous process validation techniques such as DFMEA and PFMEA.
Facilitate the scale-up of manufacturing capabilities, working closely with equipment suppliers and internal teams to ensure optimal integration and performance.
Requirements
Degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or Chemistry, with a strong technical foundation in high-volume automated systems design.
At least 5 years of experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment, preferably in a role involving the integration of novel technologies into existing production lines.
Demonstrated proficiency in CAD and statistical analysis software, with a thorough understanding of modern manufacturing technologies and principles.
