Job description

  • Responsible for leading a quality team, innovating and building effective processes/systems that the Back End Network can utilize to align the focus on improving top product quality issues. You will also be responsible for the in-line process controls, outgoing product quality, Customer returns management, as well as watching Back End deviation management activities for the site.

  • Lead Customer Quality Engineer team in supporting to achieve #1 Quality Rankings among a key customers cluster as determined by customer scorecards.

  • Problem solving of process issues which includes finding root cause, containment of materials, implement corrective and preventive actions.

  • Build a site quality team that will work towards zero deviations from product requirements.

  • Participate in efforts related to alignment and collaboration of Quality organizations in the Back end network.

  • You will develop, manage, and/or communicate quality line of sight metrics and goals.

  • Deliver a consolidated and aligned focus on improving performance variation and deviations.

  • Develop an IQC process that works collaboratively between relevant functional groups.

  • Provide Customer support (Customer audits, RMAs/Customer Complaints).

  • Provide lot disposition support.

  • Work with all sites and business partners to establish an effective communication system.

  • Setting quality objectives and related training.

  • Customer scorecards and customer portals.

  • Advocate Quality culture.

  • You will hire, develop, mentor, motivate and lead a team of highly motivated Engineers.

  • Define and deploy Quality Programs.

  • You are responsible to drive strategic quality initiative for the Site.

  • You need to provide documented performance management for all direct reports with formal and informal feedback, work on a plan jointly to improve strengths and address weaknesses.


  • Degree in any engineering, manufacturing and science discipline.

  • Minimum 2 years managerial position in Semiconductor HVM environment.

  • Knowledge of Statistical methodology (ie; DOE, SPC, 8D, MSA, FMEA).
