Job description

As Metrology/RDA Manager, he/she is responsible in leading and managing the metro/RDA engineering team, working together with other functional groups locally and/globally to accomplish organizational and business objectives. He/She is also responsible in sustaining any metro/RDA related matters

 

Responsibilities 

1. RDA/Metro governance and business process 

  • Review, establish and maintain business processes. Ensure global business process is practical and implemented.

  • Work closely with other functional groups to meet the needs of all new parts, equipment and process changes.

 

2. Define, develop and establish metrology/RDA need

  • Collaborate with Process Engineering team to Review and establish inline / offline process control sampling criteria / plan for existing and new product.

  • Review and establish inline / offline process control sampling criteria / plan for existing and new product.

  • Partner with other functional groups to solve issues that affect multiple areas.

  • Establish out of control action plan (OCAP), address tools that are out of control per established SPC rules on process and defect related issues.

  • Manage and support engineering requests, recipe maintenance and optimization.

 

3. Enable next generation metrology/RDA tool.

  • Identify Assembly metrology/RDA gap.

  • Perform research and develop new metrology capabilities to improve detection capability.

  • Review and align FMEA detection level.

  • Collaborate Metro/RDA learning and needs with network team.

  • Liaise with Metro/RDA vendor on tool bench marking.

 

4. Build an Effective Team

  • Oversee technical and career development of engineers.

  • Encourages, mentor and empowers engineers to be creative and think outside the box for breakthrough ideas.

  • Engages Process, Equipment, Manufacturing Owners to gather inputs for area improvements.

  • Promotes a positive team environment by empowering all team members and encouraging them to be stakeholders in the area business.

  • Fosters a motivating team environment through challenging opportunities, appropriate feedback, and recognition of accomplishments.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any relevant field 

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing environment 

  • Good multitasking and organizational skills

  • Effective communication skills in written and spoken English
