
Job description
Lead device engineering activities focused on developing, optimizing, characterizing, and qualifying semiconductor devices to achieve targeted performance specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, characterization, and qualification of semiconductor devices to meet performance requirements.
Plan, execute, and analyze Design of Experiments (DOE) to support device optimization.
Collaborate closely with process integration engineers to enhance device performance.
Partner with TCAD engineers to model and predict device behavior.
Take ownership of complex device-related technical problem-solving and drive resolution.
Interface with internal and external stakeholders to address technical inquiries.
Define and establish technology design rules, test structures, and methodologies.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and introduce innovative approaches to device enhancement.
Ensure all activities comply with Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHS&S) standards and company policies.
Requirements
Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (or equivalent).
Strong semiconductor device physics.
RF fundamentals (e.g., S-parameters, harmonics, noise figure) is advantageous.
Experience with RF on-wafer testing and setup of test equipment such as probers, semiconductor parameter analyzers, and network analyzers.
